For the May long weekend we decided we wanted to do something fun. The weather didn't cooperate until monday morning and even then it still was raining lightly and not too sunny...but good enough to get out. We went down to MacMillan Provincial Park to take a hike through cathedral grove. It's home to the huge Douglas Fir trees. Some of the trees are 800 years old but most are about 300 years old. It was a nice hike, light rain, beautiful scenery and the kids behaved. We love living in our temperate rain forest.

Our little tree huggers. This is the largest tree. Over 800yrs and 76m tall, 9m round

Huxley had a great day
i want to see you all again!! The weather here has been brutal, you'd think we lived in a temperate rain forest...but minus the trees. Your family is beautiful, we all especially loved the close ups of your mini me...I mean, Huxley. Continue having fun. We love and miss you...
