A white Christmas!

We had a wonderful quiet Christmas at home.  Christmas Eve we did the usual, chocolate fondue and watch a movie.  Then opening jammies then off to bed!

All night long the kids kept track of where Santa was via NORAD.

Christmas morning the kids were up bright and early.  I think Brecken was awake since 3:30 am.  We finally let them go down around 6:30ish.

As usual the kids were spoiled by family and friends.

It was fun to watch Huxley this year.  He finally "gets" it.

We have lived here for just over 3 years.  We have NEVER had a white Christmas. When we woke up it was raining then it turned into snow!  The wonderful sticky kind that you can make great snowmen out of,or in my kids case a snow Ogre!

Although we missed being around our extended family it was also wonderful to have a quiet Christmas. We are able to have our own traditions and just relax.  Hard to believe that next year we will have 4 kids to help us celebrate the season!  Can't wait!
