Visitors!

Last week my brother Rick & family came for a visit. It is always great to see family! DAY 1-First up on the list of things to do was Angel Falls. It was a beautiful day, perfect for cooling off in the crisp water.

This is one of my most favorite places to be. Great to share it with family. We spent the afternoon playing in the water and just catching up :)

DAY 2- On todays agenda, Catherdral Grove-Coombs-Parksville

My kids LOVE Cathedral Grove (although from the picture it doesn't look like it :) It is like a big play ground. Climbing and jumping on the massive trees.

Awwww, cute boys :)

After the Grove we hit up Coombs, a must stop for ice cream. We also went to Parksville and played at the beach. We didn't time it very well and the tide was well on its way in so we didn't stay too long.

DAY 3- Kye Bay

Not a cloud in the sky! We spent a few hour hanging out at Kye Bay. Skim boarding, sand castle building and just plain relaxing!

Brad instructing Marshall how to skim board.

He was a natural! On his first try he did better then I have done all summer. He did have some wicked wipe outs but got right back up and went again.

Some serious sandcastle building. After working on this for a while the tide came in a ruined it all. So that prompted us to head to our next activity.....back to Angel Falls!

After a short mishap on the hike in (Brecken and Marshall both got attacked by wasps) we made it back to take one last swim before the Scotts had to leave.

Brecken was pretty upset with the whole sting thing so he didn't venture too far from my arms. Poor little thing :(

After Angel falls we went back home and Brad made floutas for supper. Yummmm, then we headed to the marina to check out the seals and starfish. Early morning on DAY 4 their flight left. We were sad to see them go, especially Brecken. He had so much fun hanging out with Marshall.

We love to have company, so anytime anyone wants to come visit you are more then welcome!
