Over this last school year Tavie has grown so much. She has learned to read, do math and actually grew a few inches! After her sick day yesterday she was so excited to go to her last day of grade 1 today. She asked if she could wear a dress and if I could put ribbons in her hair for this special day.
Of all the things she brought home she was most proud of her art portfolio.
Especially her scratch art.
Now we are officially off for summer!! Brecken has been looking forward to this day for a long time. Not only because she will be around to play with everyday, but because the next time Tavie has school he will too! I have been looking forward to the lazy days of summer as well. Tavie is a great help at home with Huxley and keeps her brothers busy so I can get things done. We plan on spending most of our summer at the beach. For the kids.... playing in the water and making sand castles. For myself..... a good book.
